Winter is upon us again so what better time than on one of the shortest daylight days of the year to have a good old summertime cook up and get together?
If the weather is fine enough, we will hold one of our famous BBQs though it will be more of a lunch thing that a breakfast – with cooking looking to get underway around 10:30. If it is a miserable wet day we will look to move the BBQ to the following weekend for a more traditional ‘End of Month’ affair.
To help you build up an appetite we are planning on holding both a swap meet / car boot sale and a Taxiing Competition for anyone that has a wheeled fix wing model – from what I’ve seen gliders don’t taxi that well. The swap meet and taxiing events should not be impacted by any slightly bad weather so at least put these in your calendar.
Of course there will be general flying for everyone and maybe even some impromptu rounds of other competitions as well
