Club Working bee – 20/9/26

The Committee’s sincere thanks to all those who volunteered for the working bee at the Tharwa field on Sunday 20 September 2026. I must say I haven’t seen the field looking this good all at once in many years. We had the two big mowers going, push mowers, whipper-snippers, and a great team of young (thanks to Stefan’s children for their helping hands!) and old filling in the rather impressive sized holes the cattle had left in the rain softened field. Special thanks to master chef Dave Pinchbeck for whipping up bacon and egg rolls for the worker bees, and to Alex Gibbs for collecting the trailer of dirt to fill those holes.

Most importantly the crew all had a pretty good and social time – which is what NSFC is all about! And we got a little flying in too before the wind hit 🙂

Thanks to all again,
Bill L
