X-100 Infinity Phoenix

After the 12 second maiden that resulted in the “Biggest Hole” contender for 3D printed models other week I’m ready to try again. The following link is the build log for my new X-100 Infinity: https://www.flickr.com/gp/itgeek555/S3e9NZ

This time I will be setting the CofG at 42mm forward of the front wing trailing edge.

  1. Looks beautiful Mark. I like the colours better than the Mark I version.

You’ve made a big enough sacrifice to the gods of RC to have a better chance this time. Good luck. So far its been two out of two failed Maidens for X-100 Infinities.

  2. Good luck Mark. I hope the next attempt goes well. I haven’t been brave enough to try mine yet.

On the CG, 42mm seems like a very specific number. Did you have some special method to calculate it?

  3. Special method is based on The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy – “The meaning of Life, The Universe and Everything”
