Hi Greg, Your Lockdown Project looks fantastic. As you probably know I’ve never really done any building myself but I can tell your new model has been beautifully constructed. I have one question which may reveal my ignorance. What is the curved object on the top of the mid-wing, I suspect it is used to mount an engine?

Yes Trevor, that is an electric motor pod that I have made. Not sure how it will work. It’s a bit of trial and error. I had something a bit similar on a 2 metre Spirit some time ago. It was used to mount a little Cox motor. It worked reasonable well, except it lacked power and didn’t have enough fuel to get to the height that I needed.
Time will tell with this one.
