Yesterday’s flying conditions were excellent. Neil’s maiden of his new Piper Cub went really well.

Well it’s the scale-ish Cub J3 from Phoenix that I was flying last year until I snapped the wire landing gear trying to fix a bending axel! It’s scale-ish because if has flaps and aero balances on the elevator neither of which are on J3s. The fuse is about 1.6m long, wingspan is about 2.5m and the engine is a 20cc DLE petrol. Weight is a tad over 6Kg and it’s trainer yellow all over so easy to see!
