Had a great morning today…..maidened two more 3D printed planes.
Both are from Planeprint (aka Rene Marschall in Austria) whose designs are improving with each model. The two metre glider is called the Foka, and it flew beautifully. Launches and landings were excellent.
The little biplane is called Ziggy, and after a bit of trimming, it was a blast to fly. The great thing about this little plane is how little material it needs to print it, and how quickly it printed. It takes away a lot of the stress of a maiden knowing that even in the event of a crash, you can head home and click CTRL+P and have another one in a day or so!

I want to introduce a new feature of the club’s website, a easy to use visual editor to create posts on the forum. This means that you do not have to use a subset of the WordPress admin interface as we have done in the past when you want to add something to the club forum. Your post can include text, photos, video or you can create photo or video galleries using the “Add Media” button .
You must still log on to the club website before writing your post. The new easy-to-use form is accessed via a link from the Members page or you can use this quick link.
As an example I’ve include 2 photos (Waldo and my Decathlon) just because I can.
Let me know what you think of this new feature. Is it easier to use?
