I’ve never seen the Facetmobile before, is the model still flying? I guess its a lifting body design. Was the original an experimental or a homebuilt light plane?
I gave the model to my mate Pete in Bundaberg. The plane flew best with the stabiliser engaged, but the handling a doughy at best. I suspect the coastal winds at Bundaberg were too much for it. It has since gone to God. The original Facetmobile was a home-built experimental. It made a couple of long-distance trips in 1994, but crash-landed in 1995 due to engine failure. It is not clear if it is still flying.
