Seagull Models Nemesis for sale

A friend from another club has asked me to list his Seagull Models  Nemesis for sale, as he needs the space in is hanger.  It has only had a few flights and so far shows no hanger rash.

He is offering it as either a bare airframe or as airframe and engine (MLD 35). you will need to supply your own radio gear

He’s asking $300 for the airframe or $ 500 if you want the engine included, which is not a bad idea considering the cowl has been mounted to fit.

For Sale – E-Flite Conscendo Evolution Electric Glider

Asking $250 for this E-Flite Conscendo 1.5m electric glider, BNF Basic. It’s an unwanted gift and only flown once – without crashing I should add.

I added stickers to the bottom side of the main wings for visibility. Also added clear and light servo arm covers. Otherwise, it’s pretty much “as new”.

The Modelflight website includes that this glider “has evolved with a 3S and 4S compatible power system along with a stiffer and stronger airframe. This RC glider can easily handle fun flying to 3D aerobatics and everything in-between”.

Please call or text me on 0412 293 353 if interested. Cheers, James

For Sale – The Kracken

I am letting some of my birds go to new homes.  The first is “The Kracken”.  This FliteTest designed depron aircraft is a lot of fun to fly.  It takes off very easily, handles well, no stall issues (no power, full up elevator and it just settles towards the ground).  It can also hoot along at a good pace with the twin motors at full power.

It has been built to accept a wide range of 3S LiPos in a dedicated velcro strap underbelly mount.  I have used 3S batteries from twin 2200s to 8000.

The “wow” factor in this bird is its night flying ability.  Forget looking for dots in the night sky.  The entire body of the aircraft is the light source which can be changed in flight using your 7 channel TX.

The removable bomb hardpoints are included.

Hanger Clearance

In recent times some of you may have heard me saying that you should have asked me before going off and trying to order from somewhere online … Well I’ve decided to thin out a lot of stuff that I have in the hangar and will likely never get to build or fly.

There are a couple of foamies, that would like a new home such as my old battle weary Trojan T28 or the new still in box Skysword with 70mm EDF unit and retracts.

There are a number of balsa kits, mostly park fliers from Stevens Aero and Mozano Laserworks, but there is a 1/4 scale  Anderson Kingfisher kit from HangerOne in New Zealand (https://hangaronekits.com/collections/sport-aircraft-kits/products/anderson-kingfisher-108-90-to-120-size-laser-cut-short-kit).

I have a large number of smaller size electic motors, mostly used but from what I can tell they still function, several EDF fan units – mostly 70mm in size.

There is also a new Ortur Laser Master 2 that has been modified for Air Assist and has the 5.5w diode laser head (20W model) – https://youtu.be/wMw2vqhJEOk?t=1710 … I dont need 3 in the workshop 🙂

I will put together a list in the next week or so, but if you don’t want to wait just get in touch and ask read more

An Easy Way To Post On The Club Forum

I want to introduce a new feature of the club’s website, a easy to use visual editor to create posts on the forum. This means that you do not have to use a subset of the WordPress admin interface as we have done in the past when you want to add something to the club forum. Your post can include text, photos, video or you can create photo or video galleries using the “Add Media” button .

You must still log on to the club website before writing your post. The new easy-to-use form is accessed via a link from the Members page or you can use this quick link.

As an example I’ve include 2 photos (Waldo and my Decathlon) just because I can.

Let me know what you think of this new feature. Is it easier to use? read more
