The club is holding a CAR BOOT event where you can BUY/SELL/SWAP/GIVE AWAY your surplus/pre-loved models and components to let them go to new homes where they will be appreciated. The event is being held on March 24, 2024 between 9:00am and 11:00am and will run in conjunction with our March BBQ.
This is an opportunity to clear your shed or add to your enjoyment of the hobby by acquiring new models and/or components!
As you can imagine there are some guidelines for the event …
- the event is open to all members of Namadgi Sports Flyers Club (NSFC) and also to current members of any club affiliated with the ACTAA (it’s a small community but if you’re not recognised then just show your MAAA membership card)
- the event will take place at NSFC’s Tharwa field between 9:00am and 11:00am on Sunday March 24th 2024
- all the event activity will take place in the car park at Tharwa field; members who are selling/swapping/giving away modelling components (vendors) will operate from their car boot and will not obstruct vehicle or people movement in the car park area
- anything not exchanged at the event must be removed by the vendor
- there is no charge for anyone to attend the event as either a buyer or seller
- buyers and sellers are responsible for the security of any items they have at the event
- commercial vendors are not permitted
- only items related to rc aircraft/gliders/helicopters/drones/fpv may be exchanged
In the event of any questions, disputes or arguments arising from the event then the decision of the NSFC committee members present at the event will be final.
Everyone who attends the event is invited to share in the club’s end-of-month bbq at no charge, although if anyone wants to make a donation towards costs that will be much appreciated.
Visitors to the event may fly if they are current MAAA members (normal club visitor rules will apply).
