We had a good day’s flying on Wednesday. The conditions were great, other than a very wet and soggy strip.
Neil’s new Piper Cub looked great, and Ray had a really long flight on excellent thermals.
I haven’t flown since March, and it was good to be back.

Im cleaning a couple of items from the shed and have 2 surplus airframes..
1 x Curare 40.. Hano Pretners anthedral tailed pattern ship. Airframe is solid and will require recover and fitting of your gear. Used to run a 46 with pipe on 10×10 apc. very slick..
1 x executive twin.. twin os26fs powered, operating strobes and still contains all the gear (might want to ditch the 36mhz rx!). Engines have sat for a very long time and will need a good clean and bearings. Bit of hangar rash, but not a difficult project to get back in the air. Very nice flying model with that great twin doppler. It will fly asymmetric but I recommend landing fast…
