With the amount of divots being left by the local population this year I thought we might look to advertise the position of ‘Wild Animal Trainer’ at the club so they can teach the wildlife to repair the damage that they are doing this season. I don’t think I have ever seen it this bad in my many years at the field.
To help with their training I have left a pile of topsoil , and for the larger critters, a wheel barrow, that they can use to repair the damage that they do.
While we are waiting for the training to be completed it may be worthwhile for all members that attend the field to spend a few extra minutes on site filling holes where ever they might be found. There is a shovel in the demountable to assist in the process.
