Sunbird 2

Having run out of something to occupy me I decided to have a go at an old Sunbird kit that Dave P kindly rustled up from his arsenal

Fortunately i had built an earlier one but it was v2 while this is v1

It was very difficult as there were no plans and the parts were not numbered. I dredged up the plans from the earlier model and somehow muddled through – with inevitable help from Jeremy of course

I know a railroad modeller who uses the “2meter test”. I prefer the “20 meter test”. Jeremy obliged and reported that it does look great from 20 m away!

So hoping to possibly maiden this on Sunday
