Sunday 26 May started out cold with low cloud but morphed into a sunny day with blue skies which made for some good flying weather. Thanks very much to everyone who came out and especially to the cooks Don and Jordan who put on a very tasty sausage sizzle. Also to the competition judges particularly Dave and Beate and to everyone who entered the Spot Landing Comp. It was a lot of fun and the light wind made the landings “interesting”.

Honour and glory goes to Peter (Aeromaster), Neil (BrikStik) and Alex (Timber) for successfully hitting the “spot”; an honourable mention goes to Gary (Apprentice) for getting very close while Beate (FunCub), Bill (Timber), Don (Boomerang) and Greg (Wing) were all chasing Gary. Greg (LimboDancer) hit the outer ring of the target and Neil with his last flight (watch the video) of the morning missed the strip all together!
