Looks great Greg. Have you thought about colours for the covering yet?
Before you settle on colours, what kind of covering will you use? I am now using Hangar 9 as I couldn’t find a range of covering available in Australia forcing me to buy from Tower. I have just finished recovering an Extra wing which was originally done with Profilm; the Profilm failed when the black portion of the covering delaminated. The Hangar 9 is not cheap when you buy from Tower but the local agent carries bugger all in stock. I have found the Hangar 9 to be very good to work with and the colour range is good.
I have 4 or 5 unopened rolls of Coverite in my box of covering that I will probably use. I have Red, Orange, Yellow & White I think. Not my favorite colours but will be ok.
I have had to put the wings aside and lodge an order with Tower for some servos. There are two wing options for this model. I have opted for the advanced wing which is a slimmer version and includes flaps and ailerons. Unfortunately standard servos will not fit in the wings. My order was put in about two weeks ago so should not be too far away.
I started work on the fuselage yesterday arvo but I am supposed to be working from home for the next couple of days so I better leave it alone for the time being.
