I Have just done a short test with streaming holographic pest tape as a possible magpie deterrent. Unfortunately the results were not great. While a couple of maggies would zoom in, have a look and veer off, the agro ones are still agro and took no notice of the tape at all. I had it streaming from the tail, it may be better if streamed behind the wings but then there is a possibility of propellor interference, on a pusher anyway. Think it’s just a matter of waiting a few weeks. They do seem more aggressive this year for some reason.
