Golden Oldie Re-Maiden

This is the re-maiden of a re-homed Prophet 941 towline glider, with a new pylon-mounted pusher motor. The glider was gifted to Clem when the original owner had no further use for his fleet of gliders. Clem committed to re-home the gliders to flyers who would use them. My goal was to turn this into a viable motor-glider whilst maintaining the integrity of the original model. The CG and pylon thrust-angle were guesswork, but worked out OK.

Thanks to Clem for re-homing, Allan and Fred for the music wire wing joiners, Bill for his flight coaching and Mark for his camera work. More tweaking to follow….
