Free to any good home is a somewhat battered Modeltech Fokker DVII. This is the companion plane to Heath’s little SE5a that we sometimes see out at the field. It used to fly fantastically with a Saito FA72 engine, until one day the motor cut on take off and it came down with a bit of a bump.
While there is only superficial damage visually, I just don’t have the inclination to go through it and see how much might have been damaged internally around the wing roots.
What I will give you is everything except the engine – that has just become earmarked for another build 🙂
I’d love to look after this one for you Dave! Would be keen to try an electric conversion.
