For the builders amongst you I expect that you are familiar with Outerzone and Aerofred as online sources for free plans but I just came across a site RCBookcase which has a selection of UK, European and US RC magazines stretching back to the 1950-1960’s era which are available for download. Many of the magazines include plans which, if you click the links, takes you back to Aerofred. If you’re interested its probably worth joining both sites (free to join). In addition to modelling magazines RCBookcase also have vintage product and plan catalogues from circa 1960s.

Just found some issues of an Australian-NZ magazine called “Model News” dating from 1960s. I just glanced through one issue from 1965 and its a real blast from the past
I have been downloading mags from this site for years. There is a good range of US mags particularly. Another good site is rclibrary.co.uk.
I must have been going around with my eyes shut, I’d never heard of RCBookcase until the other day and now there’s rclibrary.co.uk too
