Emmanual Fillon (b. 1917) was a prolific designer and builder of free flight models and winner of the 1937 Wakefield event. Fillon’s “Champion” won the Concours d’Elegance award at International Week event at Eaton Bray Sportsdrome in 1947. Emmanual Fillon as well as winning the 1937 Wakefield event with a flight of 253 seconds (second place was a flight of 195 seconds) was a prolific designer of free flight models and many of his designs are still available on outerzone and aerofred (search term was emmanual fillon).
