Fillon’s “Champion”

Emmanual Fillon (b. 1917) was a prolific designer and builder of free flight models and winner of the 1937 Wakefield event. Fillon’s “Champion” won the Concours d’Elegance award at International Week event at Eaton Bray Sportsdrome in 1947. This is Geoff Malone’s account of building Fillon’s “Champion” and converting it to RC.
