A Windy Day At Tharwa … But Good Flying

A small select band (Allan, Fred, Glen and me) went flying yesterday (Sept 01) and found it was interesting (the “may you live in interesting times” sort of interesting) but undeterred we had a good morning of flying. Fred brought out a couple of his beautifully built models, a Nutball and Junior 60 (a Kiel Kraft design from the 1950s.

Fred with his Nutball, it looks good but the maiden was tricky. After consultation it was decided that the CoG was located too aft … so a bit of re-organisation of the fittings to come.
