Tuesday (20/09) was perfect flying weather with blue sky and a gentle northerly. Ray, Struan, Jeremy, Gary and myself had Tharwa Field to ourselves but Gary had a special treat waiting for us. His much loved but unflown E-Flite DHC Beaver was ready for it’s maiden.
The Beaver flew and looked great. After an 8 minute flight the two 3S 2200mah batteries still showed more than 50% remaining so comfortable 10-15 minute flights should be on the cards.
